David Luiz's audacious dive

Post by Reg »

Did anyone see David Luiz's extraordinary dive near the end of today's game?

As far as I could see he ran up to Jason Puncheon from behind, pushed him in the back, then launched himself into a theatrical dive worthy of the great Dele Alli.

I don't think I've ever seen a player dive behind his opponent before - especially impressive given that his opponent didn't even know he was there.

I must say my admiration for this man increases every time I see him - a true original, he is.

I have now watched it on TV.

Which is unusual considering he's always bigging himself as being such a devout Christian..hands in the air-cliche celebration and all that..

He's a total fraud who has been lucky to win as much as he has with Chelsea. The 2014 WC semi will be his true epitaph..

Think he just lost his balance after playing the whole game with Benteke in his pocket.

If it DID happen, then the KUN tackle needs to be reopened, as that clearly has affected David's balance. KUN should get a lifetime ban and all his "earnings" go to the Chelsea Pensioners. Pip pip!
