Bill Wilson is a cunt, of course it's black and white. You either watch it or you don't

Anyway far more impressive is naming all of the players in the pic.

Harris, Webb, Clarke, Hollins, Jones.
Don't always believe what you think, because sometimes its' a load of shite

And even better, Chelsea beat dirty Leeds 8)

It would be hard to imagine how many red cards there would be these days. Eddie Gray ripped Chelsea to threads in the first game, Chopper just kicked him off the park in the replay. A red card challenge from Jones on Peter Bonetti was a shocker.

I remember those incidents and whilst the laws of the game were annihilated on a regular basis, it was entertaining stuff. :D

Don't think cunts in the 1980s were less dirty either like Chapman, Souness, Dennis, Harford, Vinny Jones or Roberts.

In the Bad Old Days of hatchet-men I don't recall an eighth of the career-threatening injuries you get nowadays. One of the unintended consequences of "cleaning up" football is the lost art of the tackle.

Be that as it may, I love the para headings of the article quoted in the OP:
"Variables at play"
"Shift and flux"

"Old Variables at Play" was one of Captain Beefheart's best tracks, in my opinion.
Who else remembers the Shift and Flux Christmas Special? Tommy Shift was the straight-man and Bobby Flux was the funny one. "Flux ... off!" Oh, how we laughed!
