I have just watched the documentary on the BBC Storyville "Forever Pure Football & Racism In Jerusalem" and I truly felt anger towards the racist imbeciles that supported the club and then felt pity for their ignorance. The hatred of the scum that supported the club turned my stomach and once again proved there are racist scum in all religions.

I know there are those of you who hate the Islamic faith because of the terrorist that have caused a divide in the recent years and you say that not all Muslims are terrorist but the terrorists are Muslim. Throughout history there have been Christian (IRA & UDF), Sikh, Hindi and of course Jewish terrorists yet because of the 24 hour news and obsession with the media the focus is always on the Muslims.

I had this recorded and planned to watch it anothrr gay but then ended up watching it from the half hour mark line and found it so dispiriting I didn't want to go back and watch the start. Horrible the hold the arsehole fans had over the club. And the way they turned against the club captain too was ridiculous.

Just started watching it on iPlayer. Watched some documentary a couple of years back about Beitar, not sure if it was this but it showed the club's fans to be ultra-nationalists who targeted Palestinians with virulent hatred. Quite unsavoury in parts. Don't think UEFA would actually tolerate East European Neo-Nazi's to get away with what Beitar fans did.

Even as a Liverpool fan I did find that a bit harsh.

Gaydamac looked totally useless as club owner and they showed him constantly sipping on expensive wine in his box. The keeper and the Argentine player were the only ones who spoke out about the Chechen players being accepted whilst everyone kept their heads down.

The 19 year old signing Kadiyev did remarkably well not breaking down in tears with the constant abuse he received and being physically attacked by the fans of Hapoel Tel Aviv I think it was but the supporters were brutal.

Same here. The older signing who I think was a striker scored his first goal in a home match and the fans got up and made their way to the exits in disgust for an "Arab" scoring for their ethnically pure side which actually had Catholics playing for them too. Bet they didn't have a say in the move either as it seemed to be part of a political arrangement between the Chechen Presidrnt and Israel. Poor fellas.

Don't think that will happen fug. Beitar are a powerhouse in the domestic league, owned by a Russian billionaire oligarch and courted by some powerful political figures like Netanyahu and the Israeli President who make the ground their first port of landing when campaigning for elections.
