It's so fucking shit isn't it? The only time the annual beano was worthwhile viewing was when it was just a one off match in the 1980s when proper champions like Liverpool, Forest and Villa played the likes of Flamengo, Penerol and Independiente. And they were good matches to watch in the comfort of our houses on cold December days.
Please don't hoover up all the bollocks for yourself. Leave some for others.

Where is it next year when Leicester are in it after our glorious triumph in Cardiff?

I know it will affect our matches v Burton and Barnsley but need to think about this.

The quarters done and dusted and the hosts march on. Can they emulate Raja Casablanca in 2013 and reach the final .
Have Madrid landed yet ? Gareth Bale trying some of the sushi and visiting a Geisha house.

So those who moan about this reverting to the one-off game of Europe v South America have been proved wrong again.
For the third time the South Americans failed to make the anticipated final. Hosts Kashima Antlers are in the final with a convincing 3-0 win.
and follow in the footsteps of Raja Casablanca and TP Mazembe. But beating Real would be a miracle .

Ronaldo bagged a hat-trick as Real become World Champions 4-2 in extra-time ,but the Japanese gave a good game to take it
beyond 90 minutes. A pity Bale was not taken to the tournament.

An excellent final, Alco.

A thoroughly enjoyable tournament.

It's in Dubai next year! So long Japan!
