Dave Whelan Statue at the DW Stadium

Will be unveiled at 2.00pm on Thursday(Fucking brilliant for all Wigans sick,lame and lazy),Dave's 80th birthday.

Amongst dignitaries will be Sir Rubberrtho Martinez, rumour has it he will be pullin the sheet off. :D
Joel,Boyce,Alcaraz,Scharner,Espinoza,McCarthy,McArthur,Gomez,(Watson),McManaman,Maloney,Kone,...LEGENDS!

Yes,he bought the club for a pound then sold the stadium to Tesco for £2million. He new RL was mickey mouse from day one but saw the stadium as a money making opportunity,once the stadium was gone he sold Wigan rugby for half a million,not bad seeing has they had fuck all assets.

He does let them rent Wigan Athletic's stadium tbf.
