Starts today.
Djokovic grouped with Raonic (probably completely or partially injured), Thiem (knackered from too much tennis and the least experienced of the 8 qualifiers) and Monfils (the guy who mentally disintegrated when facing Novak in the US Open)
Murray grouped with Cilic, Wawrinka and Nishikori - currently the best 3 players outside of Murray and Djokovic (and perhaps Del Potro)
Lendl back in Murray's camp for the denouement to the season. Becker back for Novak --- but will his alternate coach Mr Hugs also be present???
I'm predicting someone other than the Big 2 to win this one, possibly Cilic or Wawrinka

Side note for born again Anglophile Del - if Murray loses his no.1 ranking this week you can call him Scottish, and if he retains the top spot then like you he will be proudly hailed as British.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
With all respect to Cilic (possibly the nicest guy on the tour), it is irrelevant what Murray does against him. What he does against Djokovic (should he play him, I hope he does) is all that counts. The others are all also rans in this current race.

Murray confirmed in no.1 ranking at the end of the season!
Well done, Jamie
Andy still got some work to do, but has thoroughly dismantled Stan today.

Great result for Murray as he looks knackered will play Raonic in Semi Final whose big serve he loves playing against.
If the Joker is not firing on all cylinders Nishikori could beat him.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
Wow -Match of the Season just over with Andy Murray eventually winning 5-7 7-6 7-6[11-9] to go into tomorrows final against Djorkovic or Nishikori.
Hope Nishikori gives the Joker an equally hard game or I fear Murray will be playing on auto pilot.
Hard lines to the World no 4 Raonic who played a fantastic match.

Don't worry about Andy.
About now, he'll be sitting in his ice bath devouring his post match sushi, into a massage and a hot shower, then out for a few pints of lager and a curry or maybe a kebab with Lendl and Delgado and he'll be fine.........Okay not the lager / curry / kebab bit.

Yeah the Joker is going to be knackered after that.
Nishikori never looked up for it.
Final is best of 5 sets
Murray will just have to beat him in three again
But could be a game too far

Unfortunately it won't be a 6 o'clock start, as we will have to listen to those boring cunts Castle and Henman drone on first. Think I'll switch around half six.delboy1983 wrote:1800 HRS start tomorrow .If it's Djorkovic whoever wins is NO1

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
I fear for Andy tonight if he finds himself a set down against Djokovic .
It was widely reported that having the world 3. and 5 in his group was much more difficult than the Jokers group and so it has panned out.
Andy Murray time on court 9 hrs 54 mins games played 100
Novak Djokovic time on court 6 hrs 31 mins, games played 82
Getting my excuses in early but Andy wins the first set and adrenelin may take him over the line.
Come on MUZZAH

It's been a great year for Murray whatever happens. I hope the crownd are fair to djoko as Wimbledon they're a bit partisan, with their pimms and cucumber sandwiches.

It's the O2 ARENA leader not Wimbles and they will be 100 % with Murray as you would expecttheleader82 wrote:It's been a great year for Murray whatever happens. I hope the crownd are fair to djoko as Wimbledon they're a bit partisan, with their pimms and cucumber sandwiches.

Re: ATP World Tour Finals
I meant at Wimbledon the toffs are bit over the top. The o2 gets quite an international crowd so I think djoko will have a fair bit of support. I wonder what celebs will be in the crowddelboy1983 wrote:It's the O2 ARENA leader not Wimbles and they will be 100 % with Murray as you would expecttheleader82 wrote:It's been a great year for Murray whatever happens.
