Sack the coach and the captain. The captain talks absolute bollocks and the coach doesn't talk at all.

No application and no backbone.

Duckett can't play spin. Thus, quite the decision to take him to India.

Although we will lose this test, once again Hameed is proving he has the temperament to be a genuine test opener. Compare and contrast with Duckett and Hales.

Imagine if Root hadn't run him out in the first innings.

Is Hales back in the test squad or the one days for India ?

Getting triggered is part of Lulu's daily routine on "HIS" cricket thread . Didn't realise the thread was by invitation only.
Still,. I'm happy to oblige him in his thrills.

Hoping someone can do an Athers and show some attrition during the last three sessions of the match.
Please don't hoover up all the bollocks for yourself. Leave some for others.

All over following another typical collapse.

Disappointing, but really a surprise.
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.

No need for any further updates as the Test is effectively over. 2-0 to India.

Worth wondering why Jayant hasn't been playing for India before. A real talent with both bat and ball, but nearly 30 years old before getting his break in the test team.

Other than that, India's recent record at home is well known and so the outcome of this series needs to be seen in that context. Asking players to be at their best while playing 7 tests crammed into 2 months, with no breaks and no in between matches for those not in the first XI, inevitably leads to poorer performances.

But hey, its great to get all the TV money and wonderful that they all get home in time for Christmas - so let's just fuck the quality of the product.
