Good result for the lads. Didn't really play that well and 3-1 was flattering. But hey, Arsenal were up against a very good Bournemouth side and the referee...

Bournemouth lacked one of their best players.

Speaking to a die hard Cherries fan the other day, they are very impressed with Jack.

He's not their player. He's there on loan. Until he's sold or released, Jack Wilshere remains an Arsenal player.

This clown calls himself "Captain Arsenal"

Possibly also known as Rupe/Sinbad?
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.

Well, that's the first competition Arsenal are out of this season. Only three more to go.

I'm just trying to bait Rupe, Lawnsy.

I merely copied and pasted the quote he put on the Spurs fred when we exited the League Cup this year

Clearly, Wenger has nothing but contempt for this trophy & has done for years. So I doubt if many Gooners will be surprised or upset by the result.

He appears to be AWOL - probably still sleeping off last nights skinful.

For his sake, I hope he didn't go to the game. Actually, on second thoughts, I hope he did go. He's been awfully nice about Wenger this season. About time he reverted back to type.

I thought about going to the game, but the league cup isn't on our seasons tickets, so it would have cost about £35 see a team with 10 changes from our previous PL game. Plus i had an early start and a long drive the next day.

As for nothing but contempt for the trophy.... Hmmm, He's taken Arsenal to the final twice and at least two other semi-finals, off the top of my head. Not bad for a manager with nothing but contempt for the competition.
