The Arsenal 2016-17 Premier League winning thread

Post by kancutlawns »

Arsenal are about £46m short in their valuation for Gonzalo Higuain
Per Mertasacker
They've missed out on Leicester's ratboy who would have injected a little aggression.

Yup, as always, Arsenal look like they'll fall short on winning the Prem but slowly, they're getting there.

Started this thread as there are no regular Gooners now. Zambo, Ghost, are you going halves with me to keep this fine thread going?

This window looks the same as every other for Arsenal, cash in the bank, but the board don't want to invest it in the squad.

Any decent manager would have signed a CB, weeks ago. I'll be laughing my head off, watching Liverpool rip us to bits. I'll then be laughing even harder while listening to Wenger's post match excuses...

Sinbad, - have a look at Arsenal Fan TV's Facebook page.

Check out "I have had a bad summer"

Poor old Claude does not seem very well at all. I know he went AWOL in the Summer - clearly he has a lot of issues.

Such a shame. he comes across as a really nice bloke and a proper fan. Hope he soon gets better.

Is Claude going to return to his famous TV slot, Steve or is that it because of his delicate situation? So good that he was found safe and well.

He says he will be on it.

But he doesn't seem to be in a very good place, poor bloke.

Glad to see Claude is okay, being a supporter automatically means if you are susceptible to depression it really isn't the best occupation or passtime. High's being euphorius and relative lows being incredibly low, that combined with media saturation and constant speculation (particularly of the top clubs) it's surprising more fans don't take a jump.

Christ, if we didn't know Steve any better we'd be phoning The Samaritans every other day.

Seriously though even his role on ATV can't have been helpful, although he freely admits to having nothing else he really needs to find something else for his own well being.

Wenger tendering his immediate resignation may help matters.

I didn't want to make this topic club specific but yes his frustration with Arsenal won't help, as I said in another thread we all need hope.

Arsene Wenger wants to bring in a superstar striker before the end of the transfer window – with Robert Lewandowski and Antoine Griezmann his top targets, reports The Sun.

Yup, Way Pawa was filling his pants this morning because he equated newspaper reports linking the strikers with t'Emirates with actually going out to buy them.

Arsene Wenger has just signed a new ten-year contract.

My guess would be that he is lying in a darkened room after yesterday's Beer Festival exploits.

Absolutely loved yesterday's game, I was laughing like a drain !.... Not had the chance to watched the game back yet, bet Wenger's face was a picture when the fourth went in. Also can't wait to see the daft cunts post match interview.

Next up Leicester City, away, with a bit of luck, i'll have a ticket for the game.

Come on you Foxes !

That's all well & good but, more importantly, how was the beer festival, Sin?
