Leicester? Definitely got a chance, but...
They are a seriously good team, over two legs gives us a better chance than one but if we get through we'll have played to our maximum twice.

All looks a bit 50/50 too me. City look to have the best draw but Monaco currently in good form. Lots can change between now and February.

United v St.Etienne.

The last time they met in Europe they had to play the home keg in Bristol or somewhere after the Mancs misbehaved in France.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

They do. But, as usual, it depends how seriously they take it, Roddy.

If Jose thinks it is Utd's best chance of getting CL football next year, I make them strong favourites.
However, if they suddenly pick up league form and are nicely placed within the top four, I suspect he will field weakened teams.
The good thing for Jose is he has a big squad.

He's also a fucking cunt.
Change the fucking record would you?

I give Arsenal a fair chance of winning this time, they are not as invincible as they were in their own league and Ancellotti is viewed as a failure likely to get the boot at the end of the season

The problem we have is that Bayern are a much better team than us. But if we come away from the Allianz with an away goal (2-1). Who knows we may even be good enough to get a draw. Then it's game on.

Actually RM ain't that good this season, plus presumably still without Bale at that point. Bayern have the 5 week winter break and will be fresh, Spain get a shorter break and RM have to add in the trip to Japan and back for the pointless world club championships.

Still Bayern are older and less invincible than in past years, for sure.

Just in case nobody has mentioned it yet, best of luck to all the teams representing England in the World's elite sporting competition.

I see UEFA have allowed Real Madrid, after appeal, to buy players again in the next transfer window, despite clearly breaking the rules. It's all just fucking bollocks isn't it. Cash is king. Money rules. Fuck 'it and Fuck 'em.
