I have no confidence whatsoever in the FA to appoint a suitable manager.
When Hoddle was sacked I sent a reasoned application to be considered for the post; I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply.

Steve Bruce and fat Sam, ffs. Give me Jurgen anyday. Though would quite like Martin O'Neill myself.

Don't think Sam Allardyce would be a bad choice. He has his own way of playing and builds teams. Probably what we need right now.

Fully expect the Hodgsosauris to turn up on some highlights show in the next World Cup giving his expert opinion on England games
and offering his opinion on tactics and systems.

May as well give Alladyce the job. We've tried everything else and it's not worked. He fancies himself for the job and if he fucks up like everyone else then so be it. It cannot get worse than losing to Iceland. I know West Ham fans who dislike his style of football but who cares , he won't suffer fools and there are no other candidiates.

England squad shock: Gary Neville reveals why Danny Drinkwater was dumped in favour of Jack Wilshere for Euro 2016
He said: “We didn’t pick Mark Noble, even though he might have been in better form than Ross Barkley, because we invested in Ross Barkley. He was our man, he was the person who was the most talented player.

“We didn’t pick Danny Drinkwater over Jack Wilshere because we had faith in the ability of Jack Wilshere.

“That’s not to say no-one can break in, but when you go down the route of investing in John Stones, you can’t then pick Phil Jagielka over John Stones for the tournament. You have to invest in John Stones, even though Phil Jagielka might be in better form.”
If that's the thinking what chance does anyone have of breaking the "investment"
At least Neville has admitted what everyone knew -closed shop :!:

Mike Bassett's boys knew what it was about (and Scotland actually qualified so this is very made up).

That's what pisses me off about modern England team. The players set out to be Bessie Mates with each new manager
and make themselves "undroppable", and cunts in the media put pressure of their certain darling players are not picked.
This makes it difficult for managers to be brave/adventurous with selection.
An exchange prior to the 66 World Cup occured when one of the star players said to Alf Ramsey, "See you next month, boss" , to which Alf replied... " That's IF you're picked, lad " .
Boris " Do not look at what I am doing, Look how cute and adorable Dilyn is.....Look at Dilyn ! "

Englishman Roy Hodgson came to Nyon to offer words of wisdom and inspiration to students studying for their UEFA Pro licence.
God help them.

"Leadership skills are absolutely vital and a coach must also be able to transmit his passion, energy and enthusiasm for the game to his players," he added
