I find that thinking a bit odd, if spurs go on to win the EL, not only will it be their first trophy in NINE YEARS, it will also guarantee them entry into next seasons Champions League.
It is a real dilemma, Sin.

Or at least it would be if we were remotely good enough to win the EL.

But given how we have fared in the CL when the group was pretty much EL standard, I'd say throw it & concentrate on getting those draws to guarantee mid table mediocrity.

I think that's a bit harsh, Monaco looked a tasty outfit, and Bayer Leverkusen were a right handful.

Any talk of getting the hell out of the Europa League sums up the arrogance of the UK.

You'd think that Sugar would be able to spell "Theresa" properly.

Then again, perhaps you wouldn't.

That aside, Poch will be gone by Jan/Feb.

Not so much a "new dawn", Sin.

More like a certain area of North London entering ANOTHER bleak period of "darkness"

Did you see the bit about Levy not willing to go to six figures, Sin?

Ibrahimovic is reportedly on £250k a week.

Yeah, of course Kane will stay, Levy you cunt.

Chelsea started badly yesterday, but Spurs were playing really well in the first 30 mins. What went wrong? Two things, they decided to try and get in at half time 0-1 and came unstuck by easing off the gas and in the second half they bottled it.

Did they bottle or did they put too much into the first half. Hard to keep playing with such intensity.
Second half was very different. Chelsea played much better, Spurs couldn't keep playing at the same pace and its was really only Conre's decision to shut up shop so early that it allowed Spurs back in the game for the last 10.
