Well, that's the first competition spurs are out of this season. Only three more to go.

Roll on the nine year famine. Obviously talkSPORT won't be talking about this. Unlike a certain other club in north London, who every time their name was mentioned on the station, talkSPORT would also love telling us how long it had been since they'd last won a trophy.

One fucking goal, how shit is that ?
Marginally worse than Palace's last two league games - 35 shots, one goal. :(
Were they shots or penalties?

Not gloating, just find it interesting how one club in north London can go nine years without winning a trophy, and get load of shit from the media, stupid jokes and missing carpet in the trophy room. Yet we have another club in north London who've won fuck all in the last eight years, and nothing is ever said about it.

We could remain unbeaten all season & easily finish mid table, Sin.

An idiot can work that out. Though I accept that it might be a bit too much of a stretch for a Gooner

Of course, but this spurs side look to have something about them, and still have Kane to come back into the side. If any of last season's top five are going to finish mid-table, its Man Utd and Leicester City, for me.

I agree about Leicester.

My prediction:

1. The Scum
2. Citeh
3. Liverpool
4. Chavski
5. Everton
6. Man U
7. Leicester
8. Southampton
9. Spurs - (with Poch sacked by Jan/Feb)

Yeah, it's doing the rounds on the forums.

If I was Poch, I'd go. A club with ambition, rather than this shambles.

Trouble is that his stock will have fallen by the time RM come knocking as Levy will have made him scapegoat & sacked him before next Spring.

I can't see it, Madrid are top of the table, two points clear of Barcelona. Sitting second in their Champions League group. Unbeaten in either league. Bale just signed a new mega deal, things looking good for Zidane... imo

Time to re-assess the Trophy Express.

An unbeatean season is on the cards, I can feel it, Beeky!

Although that'll be 12 wins and 26 draws.

Still, it might be enough to finish above Man Utd. ;)

Yet to play Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd. Still to play Man City away, and Liverpool away. Lucky to get a draw away at WBA. Sorry, i can't see it.

You said the same thing this time last season. 3rd place was a good result for your lot.

....and your point is?

Last season was a one off. Both Spurs and Arsenal could have/should have won it.

Normal service has resumed this season. The big boys are back & Spurs continued squad under investment means that we simply cannot compete with them.
