Truly fantastic player.
I flicked through Steve Hodges autobiography sometime back and he attended along with his Nottingham Forest team-mates a 5/6/7/8 (i cant remember which a side but definately not 11-a-side) midweek tournament back in 83 or 84 and he mentioned that although Cruyff was over 35 years old he was just so so good.Reg wrote:Truly fantastic player.
One interview which just shows how ridiculous the sports media can be in this country is prior to Euro 88 when the interviewer asked Bryan Robson whether he could be accepted at Cruyffs level. This is nothing against Bryan Robson who in my honest opinion is the best midfield player ever at Manchester United. Go to 5:32 into the video
