I thought he had officially left.

Is that not the case?
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Pardew will not sign anything until he has a formal offer from another club.
Be funny if he's burnt his bridges too early and he's left like Peter Odemwingie in a car park on his own.

Typical Arsene Wenger making all the other managers look bad through his own hubris.

Gooners are you happy with the way Arsene is treating your club? Why hasn't he had the good manners to get sacked yet?

This is Drive... etc.

Anyone know who the shortest ever serving English Premier Leauge manager is?

I'm trying to rack my brain, but maybe someone from the Portsmouth era before they went in to trouble, with the Russki chairman, Gaydak? Or something. I seem to recall a Croatian baldie chubby guy who lasted what felt like 2-3 games?

Not EPL, but Billy McKinlay lasted I think a week at Watford before being replaced by their current boss. If only uncle Ovey would come back  and give us the full break down.

Found this , but I think it contains "caretakers" which I don't regard as "proper" managers.
Les Reed - Charlton Athletic
Reign: 14 November 2006 - 24 December 2006 7 games and 40 days.

In June 1984, Dave Bassett accepted an offer to become manager of Second Division club Crystal Palace, but changed his mind within 72 hours, refused to sign the contract at Selhurst Park, and returned to Wimbledon.
A pre-Talksport farce that The Moose would have loved to have reported...for weeks on end.

Cheers for the links.

Les Reed! I remember him.

Same with Paul Hart. He always popped up in these post Christmas sackings. His managerial stats were terrible. I had a look at them a few years back and I think at every club he lost more games than won.

Good ol' Leroy. I love him on that Football League program do me, Alan.

According to Wiki he managed Sierra Leone for 1 game and played for 1 game. Has to be one for Bad Blue's oldman's pub quiz stats.

Leicester goes to the bottom of the table after Pearson's sacking. No doubt Pisstank will be plugging the job for his mates like Warnock or Harry.
(Maybe too north for Harry).

The Wally with the Brolly is overwhelming favourite to go in The Sack Race. Garde seems to have more sympathy as ire is focused on Lerner.

Garde's going at the end of the season. It buys time for Lerner to make another monumental fuck up as he decides where next to take the club.

Why is the twat with the brolly still in his job this morning? This remarkable letter may answer your question.

He's had it on the market since Summer 2014, Pet. He's certainly overvalued it and wants to recoup some of the £200m or so that he's sunk into the club so therefore no buyers. An utter twat who'll happily walk out leaving us in a terrible mess if he can.
