Nothing wrong with not wearing a poppy, it shouldn't be forced on anybody.

However, I have to take issue with somebody pointedly refusing to wear one to make a statement. There are better ways to do so

The Lefties invented the White Poppy when they accidentally spilt some Soya /Yoghurt/Tofu or some other muesli
hippie-type muck that they called food on a a red poppy.
We are overdue the annual discussion on the White Poppy. How about a Black Poppy next to it, so it doesn't offend
ethnics at the same time.

Could have something to do with not wanting to commemorate the UK government soldiers who mercilessly shot 14 unarmed men on the streets where he spend his childhood and grew up. Maybe that would make you think about it too.

Anyone demanding he wears one is a genuine Nazi, which is very ironic in the circumstance.

Surely this down to personal choice. If you don't want to wear a fucking poppy, then you shouldn't be abused for that choice.

Hm, interesting phrasing. "fucking poppy".

I guess your stance is clear.

May i enquire as to your location/nationality etc. Not to have a pop, just as an educational piece.

Theres a bit of history behind it i do believe.

Neil Lennon was welcomed with open arms to the proddie NI support, so id say it does have a bearing.

Well I thought I made my stance pretty clear, so why are you guessing? I was not belittling the poppy or what it stands for. However, what I find ridiculous is the ignorance displayed by those who abuse people who don't wish to wear one.

As for my location and nationality, mind your own business and in any case has no bearing on this discussion.

+1

I agree, Lash.
By choosing not to wear one, you're making an even bigger statement (and making yourself look a right tool in the process).
